Why have I been blocked from accessing the Skyscanner website?

Sometimes we receive unusually high volumes of queries from an IP address, which can indicate malicious access or bot attempts to request large volumes of data. This can cause the website to perform slower for other users, and take up significant processing power. To protect users and the performance of the site, we have automated checks in place which blocks IP addresses with unusually high levels of activity. On rare occasions, this causes legitimate query requests to be blocked, which means you may see a warning message displayed on our site, and be unable to access the website.
If there is a legitimate reason for you to query us frequently, for example if you are a commercial partner; or you feel that you have been blocked without frequent query requests, then please get in touch with us.We are happy to look into the issue so we can remove the block for your IP address. You can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your IP address and details (this website may help: http://www.whatismyip.com/), and we’ll look into it as quickly as possible.
