What do the star ratings mean on Skyscanner?
With Skyscanner searching thousands of airlines and travel agents to find you the best price, we wanted to help you make more informed decisions when you select a flight provider. So we're testing a star rating that reflects a ‘Quality Rating’ This rating is informed by customer feedback, which takes into account at ease of booking, ease of website use, price accuracy and clarity of optional extras and costs.
You can trust the rating to give you a robust insight into what others have found when with an airline or travel agent - it's made up of feedback from at least 100 Skyscanner users from the past 91 days, and it's updated weekly.
Why do you give airlines and travel agents a Quality Rating?
To give you the widest choice, Skyscanner often shows you lots of booking options for every flight. We give each flight provider a Quality Rating to help you choose which airline or travel agent to buy your ticket from. The Quality Rating doesn’t include any information about the experience on board the flight. We believe that giving access to the feedback other travellers have on airlines and travel agents will be valuable to fellow travellers as they plan their next trip.
