Following an increase in contact from our users, Skyscanner actively removed Bestjet from our search results on Tuesday 18 December. We later became aware on 20 December that Bestjet had entered administration, and have since received information for affected users from their administrators on how to proceed following this news.
As a travel search engine, we do not have access to details of those who have booked with Bestjet, so have been unable to proactively get in touch. We’re sorry for any of our users who have been impacted by this situation, and absolutely remain here to help as best we can.
In the first instance, if you are concerned that you might be affected, we encourage you to reconfirm your travel booking with the airline directly. In most cases where a ticket has already been issued, and where an airline confirms the ticket, you should be able to travel without issue.
